He punched a ball straight at Stones in the first half who only had to put it into open goal but somehow missed. He redeemed himself by denying Deulofeu though. That was a game-defining moment.

Ferguson used to say the same about Schmeichel. It's not too far from the truth. We needed an upgrade on Szczesny so badly. We got half a thing in Ospina, but Cech is something else. Kudos to Wenger for recognising the problem in the last two seasons. He needs to do the same in the other extreme end of the field now.
