These lists are somehow never accurate every season. Every club will have a few players that is stated to be released but ended up staying at the club.

#Diaby hasn't been released by #Arsenal. Out of contract. But verbal agreement with the club. Talks ongoing for a new contract.

A career ended by a non-league clod in a non-event game that already been decided. Hope he gets the a move as Kieran duet seemed to keep going with only a marginally worse injury record.

Oh FFS. Its a joke if we keep him. Even if he fully recovered now he still wouldn't be good enough to take a place in the team.

Wenger is a joke for stocking up on guys like Diaby and Rosicky. This is asolute horseshit.

Why on earth would we possibly keep him around? Even a pay as you play contract would make no sense - to Diaby or for us.

An ITK on the make, spreading outrage far and wide.

The release list doesn't confirm 100% that Diaby won't be here next season, just confirms he's out of contract, but it's a leap to claim that we are in contract negotiations with him.

I wonder if Bruno Constant is Mr X.

Well that's what I'm saying Klaus, people saw Ozil and Sanchez signed and thought that it was the way of the future and talked about all kinds of Reus ex machinae to instantly solve all our problems, but the fact is Welbeck Sanogo and Ospina are the real Wenger not Ozil and Sanchez.

Shout out to G89 too for yet another tabloid thread title.

Still has a lot to learn to get to Sabres level.

Diaby is the last player in the squad to have scored for Arsenal at Highbury.

Now we only have Rozza left with a link to Highbury (I think he scored against us while playing for Sparta Prague)

Once we've shaken Diaby, over the next year we need to go after Flamini, Walcott and Rosicky. We need to cleanse ourselves of the long dark winter that followed the move from Highbury.

You sound like fucking Pol Pot.

Talk is that Diaby has an agreement with us to use our facilities for as long as he can get a deal somewhere.

And that Laurent Blanc wouldnt mind him at PSG. Would be a brilliant move for him tbh.

"Had he had a player of Vieira’s calibre alongside him, Diaby could have dominated the Arsenal midfield for a decade."

πŸ˜† Such absolute tripe. Had we had another Vieira we could have played Mark Randall in there and bossed shit up. It's the fact that Diaby was never close to that sort of talent himself that made it frustrating to watch while he was spreading knee-high bullet passes around him.

The player who symbolised the last decade for Arsenal was van Persie. Injured and underperforming for eight years, had 18 months of stellar performances and then stabbed us in the back and left us with nothing for all that hard work. What should have been a mighty explosion materialised as a wet fart.

Diaby is a symbol for two things only: our ridiculous injuries, and Wenger's inability to let go of players because they're decent blokes in their private life.
