I've changed my mind on this. For me there's just nothing else out there that I consider good enough to spend massive money on; not Morata, not Lukaku, not Icardi - Higuain is not perfect but he's by a mile the best goalscorer and all-round footballer out there that we have any hope of getting. And he's a much better player than Giroud, let's be honest.
Don't care about the money in this case or the resale value because the level of our team will go up dramatically next season with him in the team instead of Giroud and that's all that really matters.
Although, I'd really like it if we could keep Giroud in the squad to battle Higuain for that spot up front, but if it needs must then just get it done.
