Yeah, without the goals he was certainly still a very good midfielder but not a world class one, even back then we struggled to control games with him in CM.
Not even talking about older guys like Modric or Rakitic, someone like Verratti is on another level to him. So is Pogba who has taken the step up from a player with flashes of brilliance like Ramsey to a guy consistently stamping his authority on games.
Not sure what was up today, I've been critical of his shit first touch and passing in the past but today there were several instances where he clearly didn't give 100% which is unforgivable and completely unlike him, even disregarding the occasion.
