Full midget is working for them, but it's nothing to do with size, it's purely down to their technical quality and incisiveness. I still maintain we're not getting the most out of Giroud. I don't think he's the best by any means but I think there's more to his game then we get to see and we could get so much more out of him by varying the approach and delivery when we attack. We're initially too focused on either trying to pass it through the opposition, or when we're chasing a game we lump it too much without any variation.
Giroud has shown himself to be a dangerous one touch finish penalty box striker at times and also an adept link player around the edge of the box, but it's always exclusively either one or the other. There's never any semblance of balance. He's not the top class player we all want by any means, but if we could unlock both sides of his game at the same time, for me he's head and shoulders a better all round option up front than Sanchez or the extremely limited Walcott.
