coq-ram isnt an ideal midfield base, but dropping cazorla for ramsey alleviates other balance issues in the front line by allowing us to play an actual right winger like theo, who gives us an extra goal threat and width. it also puts ozil in front of ramsey, which has been fruitful not just for them but also for giroud who thrives on having runners going past him. on top of that, caz' form hasnt been up to scratch this season so benching him may not be the end of the world
and jack is not and will never be a dlp or pivot. he doesnt have the discipline or patience. his instinct is to go forward just like ramsey or rosicky when they play in the middle.
lets not forget wenger is the one who created this shitty paradigm for this whole discussion. none of the options available are satisfying.
