Well, central midfield shouldn't really be considered an 'offensive' position.
It doesn't surprise me one bit that we struggle to create chances, and score goals, with a front 3 of Cazorla, Chambo and Giroud, with Mesut behind them. That is us playing with 5 midfielders behind a striker who is far from prolific.
I've said all summer that we need two world class players in our front three. We can get away with one player not at that standard, but not two. Without Alexis we are down to zero.
