Would be a fantastic Diaby replacement.

Replace Flamini and Rosicky with someone top quality and we're set at CM.

Would be an utterly pointless signing.

On the contrary. It could be our first ki signing of the summer.

Hmm...you can have that one. Just about.

very impressive in the first half of the season. Looks like he has stamina issues but won't be a probloem as he won't be a regular here. Neat little technical player with a knack to get into dangerous places in the final third. Of course, wenger will probably stick him on the right or as a left back or something weird like that and he may also become a scapegoat. Aye on the player purely on skill though.

Better than Schneiderlin.

Hmmm don't think he is. Very neat and tidy on the ball but positionally a bit suspect. Schneiderlin had more nous

Schneiderlin has more engine, but Ki is the one I'd back to deal with pressure in that defensive-minded midfield role.

Neither one of them should start for us, mind.

I'd say Schneiderlin is more alert to danger. I'd worry that ik has no stand out strengths

He's not a defensive mid, he doesn't do the same role as Coquelin. So then you're asking if he's worth adding to a central midfield that includes Ramsey, Wilshere, Cazorla. He can fuck right off. Might have hleby footwork but we have much better than that not getting a game.

Could be the next Inamoto.

I love Ki, but Schneiderlin is better without a shadow of doubt.

I watched Ki a lot ever since he was at Seoul with Lee CY and there is no question about his quality. He is a good player for most team, would even be first choice for Spurs, Liverpool and Southampton to give some perspective. But for a side like us who wants to make the next step up to challenge for the title, he will only be a good squad player and nothing more. After the debacle with Park, I am not sure any Koreans would want to come here to sit on the bench.

His biggest strengths would be passing, dealing with pressure and intelligent positioning. Shots and set piece abilities are good too.

Cons of his game is weak defensively, especially in 50-50 challenges and aerially. He is what Anzac would describe, a perfect DLP, like a young Arteta.

That depends on what your view of a defensive midfielder is. Ki is often the deepest midfielder and as such he's responsible for the defensive shape of their midfield.

Ki is more like Arteta than Coquelin, and I prefer Artetas to Coquelins.

So Schneiderlin is better but Ki would be first choice for Southampton eh  😆 ?

You do know they play with more than one midfielder?

Good player but I don't think he'd be the Ki to our success.

Yes but just like Flamini and Ozil have different qualities so do Wanyama and Ki.  😆

There is a reason Schneiderlin is being compared to him in that post itself and other posts in this thread.
