Ozil is very good on the ball, but he is nowhere near influential enough on the ball, to justify his lackluster intensity and weak physical presence. He's very good in moments, but his overall impact on our attacking play is nowhere near good enough. He shows up here and there, with some spectacular involvements, but they are far too few and far between. A good comparison would be the Silva's at City. They do much of what Ozil does, but also so much more. The two are central to pretty much every attacking move City attempts. Ozil, on the other hand, sort of drifts in and out of matches.
