Yva now is not the best time to go around judging people's emotional reactions. I don't condone instragram abuse but it feels like you're going through every thread triggering people when its clear fans are at a low ebb

if we could get anything near the 70m from barca for ozil, i'd do it in a second.

we should've sold alexis as well. incredibly foolish to just throw away 70m. we could've brought in guys to ensure a top 6 finish (which is all we'll get WITH alexis) and re-tool next summer. in the meantime, pray for wenger out.

With respect I do not see why I should have to tip toe around people.
I asked if Kerrea had directly abused Ramsey on Instagram as I was not sure if that's what he meant.
You take that as me judging him, well I wasn't, because I'm still not sure that's what he meant.
Now if he comes back and says he did I will indeed say that abusing pepole on social media is low and I won't make any apologies for saying it.

Hilariously I run the risk of being warned for speaking up against what I see as a wave of anger spread via social media that seeks to justify and normalise all sorts of abusive behaviour.

Nah, Alexis can make a difference to our season. I have no hope from Ozil. We can use our midfielders properly without having to shoe horn him in.

We'd be more solid with Elneny-Xhaka-Ramsey and probably wouldn't lose much going forward. My only argument to that is that we only have Coquelin to back those three up and with Xhaka's tackling and Ramsey's injury problems, that trio wouldn't last long.

Özil is a luxury player that a mid-table team like ours can't afford to carry.

I think we absolutely need Ozil. This nonsense about Ramsey permanently being in the opposition 6 yard box needs to stop though. Let's play a flat MF 3 and Ozil on the wing and let the front 3 run loose. Anyway no one in this team can press (except Welbeck, who can do nothing else), so why even pretend. Let's play a flat MF 3 protecting a back 4 and exclusively on the counter. Xhaka, Laca and Ozil are well suited for that. The problem with that of course is that it requires discipline (something that Wenger sorely lacks) and a tight defense (which Wenger couldn't put together in a billion years).

One of the biggest myths on this forum and elsewhere is that we are "carrying" Özil. Apart from that, he is pretty much the only player in the squad who has perfect technique and is pleasing on the eye. If he was sold I honestly don't know if I would bother watching half our games.
