We are definitely not selling Jenko. Not a chance this season.
Players Out
Flamini has a contract both sides agreed upon signing it - dont see anything wrong with what he's doing.
Joel Campbell ‘on verge of quitting Arsenal for £8m Fenerbache transfer'
Would be a nice chunk of change.
He does look like he loves a bit of kebab. £8m would be great business.

Hope you're right. Even another season on loan would be fine. Then he could come back and replace Debuchy.

More reports from France (Metro recycling them) that Rafa Benitez has made Koscieny one of his top priorities. Would be a disaster for us, hopefully nothing to it.

this seems like the most logical course of action.
Would be strange, they already have Ramos, Pepe, and Varane.
i wouldnt sell kos for anything less than £50m if we had to sell him at all. hes arguably our most important player and hes in the peak of his career. if we sold him, we'd have to buy a new starting CB. and the only players who are on his level are going to cost a small fortune.
tell madrid that we want varane back plus money or they can get fucked.
Just out of curiosity, how many would take a straight swap for Varane, were it offered?
Only if Kos really wantrd to go. Lets face it, kos aint going anywhere and neither is Varane.

In terms of their ages it probably would be a decent move.
Only way other clubs can get players from Madrid, is if Madrid want to get rid of the player. Why would they get want rid of the best young CB in the world?

I'd take it for sure.

100% yes. It would be tough to say goodbye to Kos but Varane is 7.5 years younger, will have a higher peak, and is probably a run of 20-25 matches as a starter from being at Kos' level.
I'm just not sure. I'd be tempted for the reasons innervisionscm lays out, but I don't think our defence would survive the loss of Kos. It would be bang average unless Varane could step up right away, and I don't think he can. He'll need a season or two to make that transition. Varane next to Kos would be class. Varane next to Mertesacker would probably see us finish 4th again.
I tend to agree. Varane is obviously a super talent but Kos has worked for years to get to this level, in this League - Varane would take a while to get up to that level.
I'd still be very tempted by it though!
we should just offer £30m for varane and keep kos.
