Liverpool don't use wingbacks so what are they going to do with Ox?

Get with it Qwiss!
£25m will barely get you a half decent goalkeeper these days, would be pointless to sell Ox for that much.
Wouldn't we have too few HG players after selling Ox, Gibbs, Wilshere, Walcott and (if I'm not mistaken) Szczesny?

If its pace they want they can have Welbeck too. 😆
😆
Theo as well.
Lol Liverpool. Think they'll struggle this year
Can we just cash in on the shit twat
He's right, he does have a contract 'over here' that runs another 5 years.
if Barca offer us more for Bellerin than LFC for Ox then why not sell the former unless we are going to revert back to 4 at the back?
if we can get £40m for bellerin, then we should do that.
sign a good defensive RB, use ox as first choice, and then have a more defensive option available when we need to tighten things up.

Agreed, which is why I'm somewhat surprised that we are linked to another LB so quickly.
Perhaps why we have been 'linked' to Cuadrado as cover / competition for whom ever stays of Bellerin or Ox?

WHam 25m for Walcott = I'd snap their hand off. Likewise for Giroud, and then watch them put them together as a front 2.

Because Bellerin has 5 years on his contract and Ox has 1.

sell.

If the players wants out then the years left on contract translate to an increased transfer fee, however I doubt you'd get more than 40m as it would make him about the most expensive fee paid. Would also depend if Ox wanted out or not.
Why are we even entertaining Barcelona? We should tell them to piss off. Bellerin is one of our best players. Don't be fooled by a few Ox cameos at right back. The Spaniard is better in both directions.
ox has rejected our latest offer apparently, as we can't guarantee minutes. he's determined to be selected for englands next major tournament debacle
Great news. Hope we can flog him for a good fee and buy a decent WB who can actually stay fit for more than half a season.

Totally agree.

Where is he going to go that gaurantees him minutes? Liverpool? Klopp rotates everyone. Ox is nowhere near good enough to be demanding minutes at any decent team.
I think this media talk of us not being able to guarantee minutes is fabricated nonsense. That's not how contract negotiations work
However if it's true that Ox is stalling because of a couple halfdecent performances after delivering five years worth of lukewarm dogshit then sell him immediately. He's no Alexis and we could do much better if we reinvested the England-inflated fee we'd get for him
