We got 15m for Vermaelen. Enough said.

On a serious note, most of the guys we try and move on are shit foreign players on high wages, so it's not a surprise that we get a poor fee for them. Theo and Ox are actually half decent players and have the English factor going on so they'll fetch quite a bit.

On that note, can we actually afford to get rid of the English guys? We'd be seriously lacking for the home grown quota if we did.

Theoretically there's some good value, but it depends on to whom you're selling. We'll get £4-5 million for Szczesny in Italy if we're lucky. We'll get more in Premier League but we still need to find someone in need of a goalkeeper, and it has to be a club that Szczesny thinks is worth the time. He won't go to Sunderland like Mannone did.

Walcott we're probably stuck with. He rejected talks with Leicester which means he'll also be likely to reject West Ham, Southampton et al. We might get lucky and see City or United bid for him in an attempt to increase their homegrown quota, but it's a long shot.

Debuchy won't fetch many coins either. I can see him go back to France for a million or two; we're probably willing to let him go for a nominal fee just to get him off the wage bill. And Chambo will probably go on loan somewhere.

Oh so there is some point to Welbeck then, just another breathing Englishman.

We might get 8m for Szczesny, the others will go for far less I reckon. We never get decent fees when we're looking to move players on

Ox should have decent sell on value. Young talented and hyped England players cost a lot. I think the £12m above is conservative. Agree on the rest though. Surprised if we get anything for Debuchy and Walcott wont fetch more than £15m.

Think Ox' hype died down a good while ago. He's as injury prone as Diaby and any interested buyer will probably have seen his career goal tally by now. Also the club never asks for high fees for players we're looking to sell, guess it's to help the leaving player find a club

Managed to get 15m for Vermaelen and Song. £3.5m for Ljungberg was great given how his legs were gone. £10m for Bentley too.

15m for Song was alright, he came off a very good season with us. Ljungberg and Bentley were literally a decade ago, Vermaelen is the only one you could count and that's an outlier because Barcelona always pay retarded money.

Podolski, Gervinho, Clichy, Eboué, probably Djourou and Mannone too on the other hand all went for too little

Di Marzio: Arsenal and Roma discussing Szczęsny future

Good.

Now give us £10m off Manolas and lets be done with it!

Martinez, Gnabry, Welbeck, Wilshere, Rambo, Chambers, Bellerin, Iwobi, Hayden, Crawley, Toral, Zelalem = I think we've got HG covered.

Debuchy has apparently decided to stay, which is good as IMO he's better than we've seen from him to date.

We cashed in well on Adebayor, Nasri, Touré and Van Persie. Fabregas's fee was just as well.

He's had plenty of average games for us.

Keppers just take a few games to knock the rust off. He's probably played a few friendlies now so he's looking sharp.

None of those we were looking to sell which was what I originally posted. Disagree about Fabregas' fee by the way, that one was far too cheap imo

😆 We got £40m for him in the end, now he has no hair and he still only ever plays for half a season. Good player but when you consider what others moved for around that time the fee was legit.
