According to reports in Spain, it would seem we're demanding between €17m-21m for Joel Campbell and that's why we're struggling to find a buyer.

No way we are getting that for Joel. A lower fee plus decent add-ons or sell-on clause would do it.

Calum Chambers has rejected the opportunity to move on loan to Southampton for the season, according to the Sun. Saints reportedly wanted him to replace Nathaniel Clyne in the right back spot.

Seems like a good opportunity for him to have got a full season of Premier League football under his belt, but I would have been against it because I think he's a centre back and only a centre back and that's where he should be playing. There's also the possibility that he could be extremely useful to us next season, if he kicks on he could be a very good player for us and very quickly.

I hesistate to add that the reason we've been linked to Johnny Evans is because the plan may well be to find Chambers a good loan move for the season? As poor a signing as Evans would be, Wenger surely wouldn't be silly enough to let go of Chambers and then leave us with just three centre backs to pick from?

Also lots of reports around about Gnabry having to decide on whether he wants to go on loan to West Brom for the season.

Think he really needs a good loan and Pulis would be good for him. Hope he takes it.

We have a few players who have a chance to make it here who need good loan deals. I am primarily thinking of Gnabry, Akpom and Zelalem. Bielik boy too. I'd certainly keep Chambers here though.

Yep, agreed on those 4. I would actually loan Campbell, Martinez, Toral, Sanogo and Wellington out again as well. And also Szczesny, Crowley...

Sanogo is on his way to Ajax for a medical in view of a loan deal according to reports in Netherlands.

Wonder what they're thinking.

He's 23 in 6 months with 1 league goal in top level football.

He has no future here. Hopefully somebody can continue to pay his wages till his contract finishes.

17m euros is 12m pounds. hes an experienced international with a few high profile performances on his cv. i dont think 12m is a crazy starting point

There's still a player in Sanogo if he can get his motor skills back lol. Last season he was pretty good against Liverpool and Bayern and made a difference when he came on in the cup final. He sees the game well and is strong in the air, and before his injuries he was fast and a good striker of the ball. Who knows, maybe he'll turn into a player.

Seriously? That is blatant daylight robbery. Experienced international for COSTA RICA. Yes, he had a decent game in the WC and also a decent performance v. ManU while in Greece, but that hardly constitutes a premium of 6-7m+.. i would be surprised if we got more than 6m for him.

As for Sanogo, I dont think Ajax is a bad move for him. Dutch league is where people go to find their scoring. I mean, Alfonso Alves scored 37 goals in one season in Holland..
