There has to be some condition on it, otherwise the whole loan exercise is pointless and doesn't serve any purpose, see Mbappe to PSG relegation clause. Semantics aside, they've actually committed to spending £20m on someone who's played about 6 mins over the last 3 seasons, scoring just 3 goals? I hope they get relegated.

Yeah, good point. The most important thing for Arsenal was probably to get the wages off the books.

Bielik on loan to Charlton
Campbell sold to Frosinone

Galatasaray are supposedly interested in Welbeck as a result of the player being told he can leave, but reports are he wants to stay.

We need to keep Wellbeck and give him games. He can be useful in a wide role and also in the Europa League fixtures.

Emery has said that he won't be sold this month, although I'm thinking that it may well be a different story in Jan, as like Rambo Welbeck is also in his last season under contract and declined to renew last Jan.
