Seems to me a contradiction to think that a 30 year old Cazorla is quality enough to command a transfer fee of £25m yet not good enough to keep here.
I'd shift him at £10m - £15m. I would prefer we bought well at central midfield first though.
There is absolutely no shifting allowed, unless we sign a true world class replacement a la Götze, Isco etc.
haha
shifting
Podolski to Gala is done btw, happened 14 hours ago: http://www.galatasaray.org/haber/gs-sportif-a-s/ozel-durum-aciklamalari/lukas-podolskinin-transferi-icin-gorusmelere-baslandi/27303
wtf g89, you slacker
Even Arsenal.com will get in there ahead of him at this rate. Unacceptable.
Glad the Podolski deal is panning out.
Its not done till G89 posts it.
Was a little worried when I read him say he wants to come back and fight for his place here, premier league suits him etc.
Scored some fantastic goals for us and I still think he's one of the best finishers we've had - good luck to him. Seemed like a nice guy as well.
Good to see Podolski being shifted before it becomes awkward with him. He's just not at the required level anymore and he leaves on a positive note and at 10m he was a good signing. Plenty of good memories of his thunderous left foot. Goals against Montpellier, West Ham, Bayern and Liverpool stand out for me.

Spot on. His goal at Bayern especially stands out, even if it meant little in the end the brute force with which he smashed that past Neuer was gratifying as hell.
Still makes me lol
😆 Same!
I think in general he is one of the more successful number 9 we had in recent years. Scored some absolute peach.
Too bad he is just extremely limited. Most of us knew it when we signed him, thunderbolt or nothing.
He only played at point a handful of games though. And he was pretty shit in all of them.
I was talking about the "number 9" literally. That jinxed number.
He did have his share of injury problems too.

Literally laughing out loud because of this picture.
Gets me every time 😃
Thanks Podolski for all those goals you cunted in.
Deserves a goodbye thread, no? Never really thrilled with the signing, but really liked the guy - have only good thoughts for him, and will remember him as a fine gooner, regardless of success on the pitch. Keep smiling, poldi! AHA.
