Tbf, he was great for Newcastle, prob the 2nd best RB in the league while he was there. I think there was bad blood between him and Wenger. With the rumours around Bellerin, Wenger prob saw no way to bench him, and seeing no future here, Debuchy wanted out but for various reasons, had to wait yrs for it to happen.

I like Hector, but I don't think he's irreplaceable or anything. I suspect we could give the job to AMN and we'd be just fine.

Agreed.Not fussed about Bellerin either. Would be nice to have him around but wouldn't say no to a big offer.

I disagree completely. He was always pretty decent going forward, good crosser, good on the overlap but he's never been a decent defender at all.

He was and you can see that in the games he's looked good at RCB. He's legs are gone but he could absolutely defend.

Can we assume the new guy has indicated that Perez isn't part of his plans moving forward , or why would we make this move right now? Who would sanction it?

Definitely. I'm not too worried about it. It would suck to lose one of the four good players we have in the squad, but there are a bunch of good options to replace Ramsey with.

Pull in £30m+ for him and it's not that big a deal. Fond of the player, but he's far from bigger than this club.

Hope this happens. One (or both) of him and Ozil leaving will actually help create a more balanced team by bringing in a more solid and better rounded player in MF.

Mixed feelings about this. Plenty of great moments with him, and he is having one of his better seasons, more consistency at least.

Then again, plenty of midfielders we can sign and replace him with, and his touches really infuriates me sometimes. His first touch can make Shola Ameobi look world class
