Same Quincy, but it feels like it's out of the club's hands. Ramsey is one of my favourite footballers but the situation is what it is. I would give him the rest of this month to sign, and after that I would sell him and replace him with Nainggolan before the World Cup starts, just to avoid having this shit hanging over us all summer what with everything else that needs to be done.
That's a pretty significant upgrade in my book. Granted Nainggolan is 30 and won't have a lot of years left in the tank, but he's a peak player right now. I also think Ramsey's going to tail off in a few years anyway. He's almost 28, fairly injury prone, and very reliant on peak fitness which is going to be increasingly harder to reach. I'd gladly take a couple quality seasons from Nainggolan and then look for a replacement. AMN will have had enough time to make his argument during that timespan too. If he's good enough to play regularly at this level it will have shown.
