Its virtually done then. They always prompt the Orn to cool things down when everyone is saying its done. They just need a day or two for the .com. I imagine it gets announced this week.

Hasn't done much wrong but towards the end of the season you could see his limitations. If rumours are true he wants to leave to play in the CL, fair play to him. I'm not sure if Woj will improve enough to be our first choice keeper but he counts as a home grown player which helps.

How many times has it been mentioned that Ospina is more desperate to be first choice? Fuck off with your clueless agendas. You don't have a fucking clue. If anything Chesney's been making a bigger fuss about not playing than when Ospina was riding the pine in the first half of the season.

What's with the outrage, people are saying that as a compliment to Ospina. He's ambitious and doesn't want to sit here getting paid for sitting on the bench.

And Ospina wasn't "riding the pine". He was injured for most of the period till January.

That's a fact many somehow forget. Szczesny could have been dropped permanently right after the red vs Gala.

Ospina was injured for practically the entire first part of the season. I think it's obvious that he's leaving because he won't settle for the bench again. He's the current #1 at the club and we're buying Cech. He probably felt that he had earned the spot.

Either way, there's nothing wrong with staying and fighting for a spot. I think Szczesny can learn a lot from training with someone like Cech.

I read on arseblog that since Ospina became first choice he has conceded a total of 16 goals, 12 of them are from a headed goals. In the previous season we conceded 7/47 from headed goals. This shows that he's not very commanding of his area.

I can't find the article on arseblog nowhere. If somebody can find back that article it would be much appreciated.
