All things considered I think Coquelin and Özil have been the two most important players to our turnaround. By quite some distance too. We've stabilised the defence too with Ospina and Monreal which was needed, but the step up in quality wasn't as big on either of those positions.
There's something to be said of the sheer end product that Alexis and Giroud have contributed with of course, but I think the common pattern here is that we've scored goals regardless of how poor we were. We just get more points out of them right now than we did during the first half of the season. And the two biggest changes are that we've become a lot better at retaining the ball in the final third, while simultaneously becoming better at defending from midfield. It has been plain enough for everyone to see for themselves, but stats back up this picture too.
