I don't think there's all that much in it to be honest, and I really like Higuain's style.

Coentrao costed more than Danilo, didn't stop him from being second choice.

Porto has earned over 500m pounds just on transfers in the last decade. Most of them good players too

And not a single one except for Carvalho who ended up in England proved to be worth more than £5 million. Remarkable.

Mino Raiola has signed up Lukaku and this is what he had to say-

"If we had met each other earlier, he wouldn’t have played for Everton," Raiola is quoted as telling the paper in an interview.

"Maybe somewhere else, maybe he would still be at Chelsea.

"I want to be clear: Romelu is a better striker than Diego Costa and could have done the same as the Spaniard did this season.

"But the Chelsea directors had decided to buy another star than giving confidence to one of their young boys.

"We will see what happens in the summer, but the Everton directors don’t have to think Rom will play there for the rest of his career.

"Later on, he’ll play for one of world’s best teams: PSG, Manchester City, Manchester United or Bayern Munich. Big names, but nothing is impossible as Rom has great potential."

Talisca from the Portuguese league would be a good signing.

Can see the summer's main targets for our rivals looking like this

Chelsea - Pogba, Sterling, Bale, Varane, Zlatan
City - Sterling, Barkley, Walcott, Wilshere
United - Hummels, Strootman, Depay, Bale
Liverpool - Walcott, Milner,
Spurs - Schneiderlin, Bacca,
Us - Pedro, Sterling, Gundogan, Cavani, Cech

I guess Walcott sorta counts as a Southampton player as well. Liverpool's hunting ground

Man Utd are pushing out these Hummells stories on a daily basis. There might be some truth to it but last few years they've been planting stories (true or not) on a very regular basis. Not something that used to happen under Fergie but clearly something that new guy Woodward likes to do.

Rumours going around that after the defeat to Bayern he told the press he is thinking of leaving. Good player, is he worth £35m though?

He's probably worth closer to 50 in today's market. There are a handful of centrebacks with his ability and they're all at top clubs already.

People said the same about thiago silva when he went for a similar fee and he was worth it.

Thiago Silva was (and still is) the undisputed best CB in the world. I'm not sure you can say the same about Hummells. He's had a very disappointing season on and off the pitch for Dortmund, not really showing the behaviour of a captain imo. Still a class player though, he wouldn't be my no.1 choice if we're signing a player from Dortmund though!

Thiago Silva has had a very disappointing season for PSG too,to be fair. Undisputed best CB? Not for me.

If it came down to it, Hummels would be an excellent buy for 30m.

I think people need to think in terms of pricing next year. Champs League and Premier League TV deals are going to cause massive inflation. If we pay 30m pounds for the best defender in Bundesliga that won't be as outrageous as it would have been last year.
