His passing doesn't surprise any more, nor does his vision. It wasn't just the first goal but even the pass for the 2nd to Campbell. Very few players will actually see it, let alone execute it. It was always his biggest strength, I can't believe the consistency of his final ball has been questioned.
What is infuriating is that it takes a central midfielder like Ramsey to make a run in behind for Ozil to pick. We just don't players making vertical runs. Ramsey makes those and Ozil does, both in the channels and centrally.
Ozil will pick out those runs all the time accurately.
