I would argue Cech is in top form, but obviously in terms of forwards its frustrating. EDIT : What Yuv said.

Ozil has had a great season so far, he's been at the center of most of our goals and has even found the net himself a few times too.

Ozil has been the best player in the league along with Vardy.
Just looking at Leicester should drum in the message to Wenger that having great scorers can lift you from mediocre to champions. Not sure why he's so oblivious to this. A great number 9 would have Ozil at 16 assists by now

We all thought Fabregas would smash the record last year and it didn't turn out that way but 8 assists in 23 looks very manageable, even if you assume he misses a month through injury.

Mahrez has 10 goals and 6 assists versus Vardy's 14 goals and 2 assists. I don't think it is outlandish at all to suggest that Mahrez has been more influential overall to Leicester so far than Jamie Vardy.

Oh, I totally agree. Mahrez is going to play for a CL club soon, but I wouldn't be so sure Vardy will. Unless Leicester make it into the CL of course...

i remember that 6-1 against southampton after we lost the title. felt like he either set up or scored every goal in that game

Mahrez and Vardy are an item and is an extension of the point made by everyone bar Wenger (and one or two others) that Ozil needs a better dance partner than Giroud. Neither would be as good without the other (or someone similar).

He does but right now with our squad it seems like Giroud is the one getting the best from Ozils service. For all the talk of Theo coming back and all our hopes that those 2 would click it never really happened during Theos run early in the season. Giroud may not be able to make the runs Ozil wants but he's getting plenty of joy from his top notch set piece delivery.

But Theo brings the best out of the rest. It's not a coincidence we look relatively toothless once Giroud comes back in.

Partnership is really important though. Just look at Lukaku and Deulofeu. He assisted 6 out of 7 Lukaku goals this year and Lukaku already surpassed his goalscoring records last year.

Giroud is not useless so he is will score goals and with him being our primary striker, he is the "go to" guy for our primary supplier just as Adebayor was the first guy Cesc looked to to pass the ball to when they played together.
