That has it's own consequences though, you gain a bit of defensive stability (in theory, was absolute disaster in every way imaginable when we tried it in the early parts of last season) but it's not without cost, you end up with just 3 attackers which includes an isolated striker. Theo wouldn't have a chance in that system.
And ultimately, you can pack the defence with a many numbers as you like but it won't stop the sort of stupidity we saw against Monaco and Olympiacos.
Wenger should focus on what he's good at, and that's fast paced fluid attacking football. When he tries his hand at anything else he usually exposes himself.
