Masterful game from Ozil yesterday.
That pass to find Sanchez for the first goal was terrific.
You can see in the still shot that Sanchez knew it was coming before the ball left Özil's boot.

never gonna win that fight- Chelsky are arguably the best outfit in the country for denying midfielders space, and yet even if he does perform, watch how their rating will start crumbling and you hear all this talk of "Chelsea are on a slide" "they've been poor for months now" "they were never really that great to begin with" etc.

I mean, after that performance against 'pool there shouldn't have been any more doubt.

Don't worry about public opinion on Ozil. The public's perception was made last year when we were falling apart. It will take a 15 goal 30 assist season for them to switch opinions, because most neutrals don't watch Arsenal on a weekly basis, only when their own teams are against us.

Yeah, this is what I really like from his recent performances. He doesn't pussy out of challenges and if he is outmuscled he actually tries to win the ball back. His previous apathy in such cases was infuriating to see.

Don't confuse football fans with the press and pundits. Most people who watch the game have spotted that Ozil has been a huge part of our good form.

There was one particular situation where he passed the ball though he was better placed to shoot himself.

Needs to improve his decision making in instances like that. Has to develop a killer instinct for goal as well,

You mean the Giroud one? Was stuck under his feet so probably the right choice to pass.

Needs to work in his finishing though as he finds himself in some great positions on the edge of the box.

Ja, I think that was the one he passed on to Giroud, who went on to strike the post or something from a tight angle.

Ozil has been great in the last couple of weeks though so no complaints here. I'm glad to see him improve and finally meet my expectations, and even more importantly, his own high standards.
