Assists can sometimes be misleading but nearly every one of those was a top class pass. Brilliant

Yeah, basically only two assists there which aren't anything to write home about; Walcott v Man City, which looked a pass to Monreal, and when Özil was hacked down in the penalty area and Alexis followed up and scored. The rest are varying degrees of genius.

It's too bad Özil's final ball is so disappointing. Otherwise those two assists Rex pointed out would have been much better.

Some interesting Ozil stats for 2015.

1) Özil has scored or assisted in 14 of his 18 PL games in 2015-16. Arsenal didn't score at all in the other 4.
2) Out of all his assists this season, only 3 goals hasn't been one touches which proves how good those assists were. The 3 are Walcott v Stoke, Campbell v Swansea and Walcott vs Man City.
3) Ozil created the most chances in Europe’s top 5 leagues in 2015:
Ozil- 123
Payet- 111
Nolito- 100
Hazard- 96
De Bruyne- 94
