Talent, and our analysis of it, is certainly subjective so there's no clear line. But Xhaka has scored goals Coquelin could only dream of, hits the long cross field pass far better, and doesn't look to be any better or worse of a short passer.
Where Coquelin has Xhaka beat is in defensive nous and hustle/commitment, really only one of those would fall under "talent".
Anyways, I'll remember Coquelin far more favorably than Xhaka when this is all done.
