I absolutely agree, and I'm not saying fighting relegation is zero pressure in the majority of situations. However, I don't see how Sagna himself, as a player, could possibly be under that much pressure at Benevento. They've got the longest losing streak in history, are a tiny club who are living a Cinderella story considering they folded and were re-founded in only 2005, and he only joins them now in an attempt to shore up their defense so they can grind out some points. I don't think he's going to feel like the weight of the world is on his shoulders. Fair play if he loses his shit over this and gets super-invested in making some kind of recovery, but I wouldn't say his career is on the line in any way, shape, or form.
