Na clubs have lists of targets on a database and beside it has the status of each. So the manager / coach can login and see the progress of each target rather than making 30 calls a day to agents players negotiators and scouts.

both have major fitness concerns. gundogan is the more well rounded player.

For sure. Then again Wilshere should at this point be a squad player. For me, if we want to buy a central mid who is not a defensive midfielder, then the player needs to be better than Ramsey. I don't think tubby Ilkay is, so I am well pleased we are not signing him.

Money can definitely be a lot better spent on, say, a CB, a DM and a top class striker. How about we first sort out those positions where we are actually short in numbers, and in quality too, and then see if tubby is available?

Wilshere shouldn't be out, he'll be a star. He'll start for us at RW and make a great career here.

I'm definitely in favor of buying another CM to back up Ramsey. We don't really have anybody else in the team who plays his role effectively.

I don't know. If we can get some sort of swap deal for someone like Fabian Delph or Jack Cork I think we'll be away and laughing.

We may have to chuck an extra 5 or 10 mill in there to sweeten the deal though.

Surprises me that you see the value of Rosicky but don't like Wilshere's game. Seem to do the same functions with equally limited success rates but very easy on the eye. This season wilshere had cut down on his blind alley runs too. Poor bastard just needs to be injury free.

On Gundagon, an Arteta type or an old Flamini type, I'm not that bothered about the approach as long as they get the tackles in and track runners. But they absolutely need to be injury free. Links to this guy and Khedira are only concerning because our current central midfield aren't reliable with fitness.
