Yes, its the same ethos, but the point is, that we have such a strong squad depth now, that the club is not thinking about adding more squaddies for £10-15m a la Welbeck, Gabriel or Debuchy, but instead we'll only do big business to improve the starting XI. And what are you on about not being in a different place financially back in 2013? We were acting under the principle of breaking even up until last summer of 2014. Our biggest net spend summer during the Emirates-era was £18m. 2013 summer we spent £34m net and that was due to Mesut becoming available. It was extremely out of character to spend as much as we did. It was only the last summer that the shackles were finally off and it showed - £73m net spend in one summer. With the new TV deal kicking in now, we can expect to be able to spend at least as much probably - so we can go all out on at least one big guy, maybe two.
