Dzeko is surprisingly weak for his size, I think Bony is a better all round player. He's strong, his positioning is excellent, he's a quality finisher, excellent in the air. I think he's a great foil for Aguero. Better to compare to Negredo who I think isn't as good as Bony but has similar traits.

I wonder where Jovetic will end up? This must be it for him.

I'd happily take him off their hands.

why? they can keep a huge squad because they have unlimited money. im sure hes on ridiculous wages, cant see him begging to leave.

They still need to comply with FFP though, so they need to bring in money to spend money. The easiest way to do it is to sell a player you barely use while his stock is still high.

I read an interesting thing about City the other day. They have the oldest squad in Premier League, apparently. Even when you ignore their oldest players, like Demichelis and Lampard and the likes, most of their star players are either approaching or way past 30. If they keep this up they might collapse just like United did at the end of the Ferguson era.

Bony's scored the most premier league goals in 2014. He's consistently scoring and against the big teams too. He'd walk into our first eleven.

That might have been impressive before Sanogo left but now...

I wanted us to take a punt on Bony when he was about to leave Holland. 🙁

He's fine if you've got someone like Agüero as first choice.

We have Giroud, we just need to get that Agüero level player.

We already do have him. His name is Alexis Sanchez.

There were strong rumours yesterday that Reus is going to Real Madrid next summer (has agreed a 5-year deal). Would make sense since it was reported months ago that he's taking spanish lessons. Also think the league over there suits him much better than PL. Good choice for him.

Potentially also opens up Bale <-> De Gea switch.

why would real madrid sell bale? they can just offer £40m for de gea, he'll ask to leave, what can united do to really stop him? they make so much money that FFP doesn't really matter for them, its not like they have to sell someone to spend £40m on a keeper

I can see Bale at united too

God knows how they can afford him and still pay guys like Rooney and di Maria the amount they do

Only a year left on his contract in the summer too, doubt it would even cost 40m.

Madrid are also so stacked that the GK position is one of the only places they can significantly upgrade really. I could definitely see De Gea heading there, Real would love the new Spanish #1 to play for them.

No real reason to get Reus in and move Bale out IMO, especially given that Reus likes to play on Ronaldo's favored left side. United would be very good with Bale, I would hate to see that transfer happen.
