no chance he leaves this summer, thats for sure, because of their transfer ban. you cant replace him anyway no matter who you buy, but they certainly wont let him leave.

Does the transfer ban apply to players leaving as well?

No, it's technically a registration ban. They can't register new players, but they can sell players.

Bony to City now official. 25m fee being mentioned rising to 28m. Still find this deal odd for both parties. Should be a decent backup though.

Someone called him the new Yakubu. I think that's spot on.

Bony is a much much better finisher than Yakubu ever was. He's not just a bog standard PL striker but I don't think he's an upgrade on Dzeko.

Bony's scored the most premier league goals in 2014. He's consistently scoring and against the big teams too. He'd walk into our first eleven.
