In their starting eleven, four of them are either a youth product or have been there since they were 18.
And who's to say that Ødegaard still needs to be there when he's 18? If he's not getting minutes by then, Real Madrid either loan them out or sell them with back clauses like they did with Morata and Carvajal. They don't let their talents rot on the bench.
Many of the products that Madrid sell have lost years in development like Soldado (left at 23), Negredo (Came to Madrid at 20 and made 0 appearances in 2 years), Diego Lopez (Played first team football at 24), Morata was nearly 22 when he left and he started 8 league games for them that's it, Mata was already 19 and given 0 games, Juanfran got 6 games till 21, Canales came at 19 with a big reputation and left a year later having played less than 600 minutes.
