what happened to the english CB pipeline? remember when we had campbell, terry, ferdinand, woodgate, etc? i'd love an absolute beast like campbell, with pace, power, intelligence, the full package.
today's wenger would turn down the chance to sign sol because his passing range was lacking or some bullshit like that.
Campbell was the best CB I've ever seen, don't think we'll see someone better at Arsenal for a very long time. His monstrous size coupled with his explosive athleticism was unreal.
He was top drawer indeed, as was Adams
There's a lot of good English defenders coming through the ranks. Shaw, Chambers, Jones, and Stones can all be top players.

Yes, but every time I've seen him play he often holds onto the ball for too long and does something stupid. He's well able to play the ball out though.
