This is United's worst side in decades, losing to this shower of shit is worse than the 8-2

We said that last season.

It was no coincidence we were the only team they taken points off in both matches last season.

Surely Szczesny has to be blamed for this - a goalkeeper needs to dominate his area and he clearly didn't and stupidly got himself injured in the process. If we hadn't conceded then, we probably would have conceded later, but in this instance, Szczesny is clearly to blame in my eyes.

ches couldve called it earlier.

fellaini is a dog cunt for shoving gibbs though. i never want to see someone injured, but after such a dog move i hope someone takes him out.

As you know I defend Szcz a lot but I have to agree with you Wooley, if a goalie is going to come he needs to shout loudly and clearly and take out everyone in his path (even his own defenders if necessary) to get there.

Fellaini and DiMaria both.

This doesn't surprise me, this doesn't hurt me. The club isn't taking this seriously, why the fuck should I too?

I can think of a number of colourful turns of phrase to describe our play,
but perhaps the most accurate I can think of is a choice of 'static impotence' / 'passive impotence', / 'impotent dominance', rather than 'passive dominant'.

63% possession
23 shots only 9 on target
84% pass success
40% of game in the opposition final 3rd
38% in the middle 3rd.

looking at those stats you'd think we bossed them...

Peter Schmeichel was brilliant at doing this.

This talk that Arsenal will end up with 3rd or4th is amazing....We are fair game for everyone....
Martinez gets a chance to prove his worth...

We're 8th...

Monreal did well today. Looked like one of the very few players that didn't let his head drop either.

For the old timers on here, when was the last time the atmosphere was so vitriolic? Don Howe in the mid-80's? Bruce Rioch? Graham in his final year in '95?

Yeah, we assume we will get out of this slump. That it is temporary.

The wenger rot is deep. Perhaps too deep.

alexis can't do it all by himself.

Neither can Giroud.

Watching the 2nd goal is making my eyes bleed. What was Mertesacker doing drifting towards the right wing.

Enjoying the "positional freedom" that he didn't get under Loew I guess. Why anyone is where they are on the pitch at any time is always a complex puzzle with this team.

What was the chant in the end? Something against Wenger?

Didn't Shrek's goal make him the leading goal scorer against us?

We aren't finishing 4th this season.

We don't create chances and we can't shut shop.

We are in quick sand. We aren't recovering till a new man comes in to implement new ideas.

The only positives from today's game is Arteta, Ox and Monreal.

Cue the next story about yet another super star AW nearly bought, and how many times he's turned down the managerial offers from RM, PSG & France.

Yeah, but then come Kos and Oz, and we make "a miracle return" to top 4. BS time and time again.
