@Kel: Except football doesn't work that way, and he has more stamina, and is usually starting off in a more advanced position than most of the midfielders which means he almost always will get to the final third of the opposition first.
For me he wasn't great yesterday, but he kept plugging away both offensively and defensively. Was instrumental to our calmness in midfield even though he lost the ball a couple times. Tracked his man excellently until the latter stages of the game when fatigue began to set in. Also, made a superb run which Cazorla tried to pick out but couldn't early in the second half I think. The ball went into his back and he couldn't bring it under control.
Decent game from him, I expect improvement as his fitness and form returns.
