If you lot don't think that getting thrashed in the same way, against similar opposition in similar circumstances is not an indication of a systematic and personnel failure, then I don't know what else to say. I suppose we needed a couple more thrashings to ring home the need for changes.
You have to look at the entire picture. You can't just pick and choose what suits your argument. We defended really well last season in the smaller games, but really poorly in the bigger games. We struggled to create and score goals. We also did not win the cup by beating Chelsea and City, we won it by the skin of our teeth against Hull and Wigan.
Lastly, we finished FOURTH.
