Re: Ramsey's performances, I think the team is different right now than is was last season, and it's impacting him negatively. It's not just the lack of a good playmaker. Some people never rated Sagna much for instance, but they would have if they'd paid attention to his ability off the ball. He was vital as defensive midfield support when Ramsey went forward last season. Similarly, Özil dragged a cental player - usually the holding midfielder - out of position to make space for Ramsey to run into, which meant that teams usually were less effective at getting a counter started if we lost the ball high up the field.
The runs were working for this reason, and now they're not, but they're still our only potent weapon apart from Sanchez.
