Robben is the most one footed player I ever seen and yet literally NOBODY stops him there when it's so obvious what he's going to do.

Messi is many times the level of that.

I do believe floba is kidding though.

Seriously though, I would love to see Messi play for another team, in another league and see how effective he will be, especially a league which gives a shit about defending, and players are actually allowed to throw in strong tackles.

Isn't that the point of the Champions League? What's the point of being the all time top scorer in European football, where you come across different styles and tactics when people still think you'd struggle to bloody Stoke.

In answer to your first question, I don't think so. Not entirely anyway. You get a "whiff", but you don't really feel the grit and essence of another league's style. Especially since most players and coaches at that level are from different parts of Europe as well.

To be a bit simplistic, there would be no need for an adaptation period for continental players coming into the premiership if they could claim familiarity with the league through the occasional encounter with English teams in the premiership from the champions league, would there?

But you said that you wanted him to play in another league especially because they don't give a shit about defending in Spain. They do in the Champions League.

And you agree that teams in Champions League care about defending?

Confirming that you remember that you wrote isn't really an answer to my post.

Messi would tear the PL a new one, which is why it's best he stays in Barca.

I already addressed your question in a prior post

good video. But if you watch closely you see Messi's greatest and obvious weakness is his one footedness.

He almost always inevitably dribbles to his left..

You know what, you're right.

😆

I think Messi read this thread.

😆

Messi is much better than Ronaldo, has an excellent right foot and would shit all over teams like Stoke. The end.

Oh well.

Ronaldo can't say I didn't try.

All matches in Spain are to be suspended from May 16th onwards due to a dispute about the new broadcasting deal.

Or something, I only read the headline.

Bet Barcelona and Real are kicking up a stink about this. Luckily, all other teams should thoroughly be in favor of the proposal.

Real Madrid and Barcelona have been advocating the new deal for a while, actually.

Pedro scores a stunning overhead kick. I'd happily take him if he's available this summer.

😆 Real Madrid hit the crossbar three times in the opening 20 minutes and then Valencia score.
