That is you leg isn't it Capi?

More like Thierry Henry, give that knee some protection!

I've broken my nose, possibly chipped my ankle bone (huge swelling but I didnt go hospital), damaged the soft tissue on my right knee, twisted my ankle several times, had my calf muscle kicked leaving it as hard as a rock....quite lucky overall.

Worst injury I have suffered is a broken arm. For some reason I was playing in goal, I was only about 12 and did it by saving a shot from a 16 year old. I didn't know or feel it for another 10 minutes and carried on playing. I went straight into shock as soon as I realised.

It is.

Looks like a leg that could tell a few stories.

Well the fact is that the body is a canvas where your life story is painted on.
Women love scars, something primeval about it, they're great topics to start conversations too.

Wow. Exact thing happened to me. Same ages and everything! Cept it was a PK and the fucking thing went in anyway...

😆 You're not related to Rosicky are you?

worst injury i've suffered is a few stitches in my brow. never so much as sprained an ankle. but i pull out of 50-50s, heck, even 60-40s 😆

in my volleyball days, got whiplash after slipping on a wet spot after reaching for a bad set behind me, and landing flat on my back. i must've done some damage as well, as about once a year, i'll wake up and pretty much won't be able to move my head due to the pain.

Broke a fingernail or two once. Didn't particularly mind to be honest, they grow back you know.

I've never been injured. I make sure to jump out of tackles and avoid 50/50's and physical contact at all costs. I try to ensure I don't over exert myself so that I don't have to worry about cramp or any pulled muscles.

Your name isn't Mesut Özil by chance, is it?

Fractured my wrist training whilst I was at Chelsea. Took me to the players lounge and I got several of them to sign the cast. Soon binned it as it went all yellowey

Once dislocated my index finger at work. Didn't actually hurt much surprisingly. Popping it back in place is an absolute nightmare though.

Broke a metatarsal and tore a tendon in my right knee playing footie.

Speaking of injuries btw, anyone else see Paul George literally snapping his leg in half in the NBA the other week? Fucking hell.

Seriously, don't watch that.

Yep. Sickening. 🙁

Luckily he's still young, should hopefully make a swift full recovery.

For crying out loud! played today for the first time in 6 weeks today and some big Scottish dude called Dave kicked me in the calf as I nicked the ball from him and surged forward, we scored from the advantage and he kept telling me to bring the ball back and accept the free kick 😆

wont watch that. there was a really bad leg break 1 or 2 yrs ago in the NCAA hoops tourney. no contact, leg just snapped. horrific.

he looked like an extra from the set of the fifth element.

Tore it up yesterday, 5v5 winner stays on. Locals vs tourists at the local football pitch.

10 goals and 5 assists in an afternoon.

you count your assists in 5aside?

Not a football injury, but the worst injury I had was when I was 14. I raced BMX bitd and at one meeting on a very fast track, I got caught up with another rider 1/2 way down the first straight.

I landed with my knee bent on the upside of a jump, which because of the speed and force of the hit, split my kneecap in half.

Man that really, really hurt, I can still feel the pain over 30 years later.

Did they have BMX's 30 years ago?

stidds was in the first wave of gen x extreme athletes, like tony hawk.

They certainly did Biggus, I started racing them when I lived in the US in 1980.

I still have a big collection of BMX bikes from the 70's and 80's and run an Oldschool BMX website/forum with over 10,000 members.

I usually play as a left winger/forward. But most recently I played as a leftback or a CB. LOL

Still the only good movie with Nicole Kidman in it. Riding a bmx down a water slide? Yes please!
