Does anyone who is more clued up on Twitter than me, know if this Jamie Dalton fella actually knows what he's talking about? I know he is quite well known in Arsenal circles, I just don't know whether that's because genuinely knows a bit or talks a lot of shit. Anyway, he's claiming Lille have dropped their asking price for Hazard and we have first refusal:

The first refusal aspect is becoming more and ore believable, I've seen it in so many different places now. At this point, and with all that's been said in the various different places, I'm genuinely expecting us to sign Hazard this summer, and will be disappointed if we do not.

JamieDalton82 talks a load of rubbish. I followed him a bit during the last transfer window, had a load of insider tidbits all of which turned out to be bollocks.

One of the blogs (Gunner Talk or the Goon Blog) have been maintaining for ages that we have first refusal on him, and in fact have already agreed a deal, despite the fact that it's been denied by Lille in the meantime.

I see no reason for Lille to reduce their asking price outside the transfer window. That in itself sounds like a load of sweaty bollocks.

Only reason would be that he has already chosen his destination and they need to cash in on him (knowing the amount that the destination is willing to offer). Not a regular occurence at all but would be in line with the suggestion that Arsenal have first dibs.

Lille OSC are now prepared to accept an offers between €15 - 18m (approximately £13.4 - 16.1m) for their Belgian winger Eden Hazard.

Arsenal secured first option on the player when he was still a teenager, and with all likelihood indicates that Arsene Wenger will indeed take that up.
Reports in Russia indicate that both Andrei Arshavin and Zenit St Petersburg are interested in a reunion, and the Russian club are set to make a €18m (£16.1m) bid in the summer.

I've seen him play a few times. Looks like he could beat any full back on his day and blast it into the top corner. But he's only 20 and I would feel uncomfortable if he was expected to walk into the starting 11 or replace Arshavin. And he's not particularly tall or powerful.
