Liverpool look very dangerous still as an attacking threat , they will cause us many problems unless Wenger gets it right tactically against them .

Liverpool look dangerous up front, but even more fragile than last year. Think they'll finish 4-6th. The loss of Suarez and additional 6-10 matches in Europe will kill them.

Doubt Carvalho is that player. Not that impressed by his passing game and he looks really slow.

'he's slow' is such a lazy critique for you. yaya, matic, carrick, lampard, gilberto. all "look" slow, all have been or are successful midfielders in the premier league

Chelsea aren't as good, but they could finish above City. Can't see anyone else doing it though.

Fitness maybe the major concern for Liverpool , the hard pressing will take its toll given the extra games they have to play in the CL

Will have to see they react to a poor run, especially when games mount up. Think they have a lot of talented but fragile characters. They were on the crest of a wave last season.

caught a replay of the 2005 fa cup final recently. United werent as dominant as I remember, we just sucked going forward on the day. even in a match where we universally panned for being rubbish, it was impressive how we could keep the ball under pressure, and how quickly our defenders and mids could sniff out danger, close down space and prevent counters. reminded me so much of the current city team. Don't know wtf wenger has been doing this last decade but we've devolved from those sides defensively

I think it's going to be a real scrum between us, Liverpool, Everton, Spurs and eventually United for third and fourth spots this season

T'was a game against the runner-ups of last season though. City were very convincing without Liverpool playing badly.

Yep this sounds reasonable.

Fantastic for competition but rubbish for us.

I always wait for 10 games. There's no way you shouldn't or couldn't believe Chelsea could be better after tthis win.
