Liverpool are going to have a few problems this season unless Balotelli really hits the ground running. Their game is based around being the front runners and being pretty lethal in attack.

Don't say it's the wrong approach, I dunno, but most sides wouldn't take such a gung ho approach to the Etihad

helps to have a physically capable midfielder that can retain the ball under pressure. Both these sides would mug us off if we played tomorrow just by hassling our deep midfielders

Yaya has been great IMO just because he's stayed put and helped City keep defenders behind the ball. Liverpool are much better at counters/pressing/exploiting space than breaking down compact defenses. I'd imagine more teams will keep that in mind while playing them.

Yaya is pretty much always great, he has just not been the offensive driving force that we are used to seeing from him.

Teams will fear them less without Suarez, Sturridge will feel far more pressure.

Doubt Carvalho is that player. Not that impressed by his passing game and he looks really slow.

yep you can limit them by sitting deep. smash cut to arsenal playing at anfield with a high line

Theo was great to be fair.

But no, I wouldn't call us gung ho, I'd distinguish between that and simply being poorly prepared, which is what defined our heavy losses last season.
