I think Khedira is bigger. I saw him at an airport once. Bloke is easily 6 ft 3 and carries enough muscles to outwrestle most centrebacks.

Giroud, despite his frame, is still a pretty soft player who struggles to impose himself physically in certain games. He got better at it last season but there's still a lot of work to be done there.

Khedira would flatten Giroud, steam roll him.
Exactly the kind of presence and muscle we need in midfield.
I love Arteta but I'd readily sacrifice him if we need to clear out some players in midfield to makeway for Sami.

Khedira would be another brilliant signing.

Love Khedira. Some are saying he's too similar to Ramsey but fuck it he's too good to turn down. Any 2 of Ramsey/Khedira/Arteta will do for the majority of our games. Go 4-3-3 for the big/difficult games. I'm confident Khedira and Ramsey would work fine anyway but even if it doesn't Khedira would still be a huge addition to the squad.

Is Khedira capable of playing slightly more restrained? Always looked a very impressive, powerful footballer, but is he smart enough to sit and protect a bit more?

he can, however wenger wouldnt ask him to curb his instincts. khedira would need to use his intuition on when to sit, which tbf he is probably smart enough to do.

Arteta and Ramsey are a brilliant partnership. He is certainly not expandable unless we bring someone to do his job (i.e. not Khedira)

harsh. arteta is replaceable from the first 11, but can still contribute plenty to the squad
