He'd have been a good signing but there's plenty more where that came from.
Probably for the best that we missed out on this one (if we have actually missed out). I'd rather someone that's more inclined to sit in front of the back four and mop up. Essentially a Flamini, but better.
I'm feeling more that way with the arrival of Debuchy. If both our RB backs show better attacking instincts, then a midfielder can stabilise it. NO so much that we actually play 3 at the back, but just allow the flexibility.
