good player but has box to box instincts. would prefer achneiderlin if i had to choose

Schneiderlin is the same. I don't think it's a problem for either one of them. I was sceptic about Khedira because of the injury but he's a class player on his day. Bags of defensive instinct.

id be happy with either, but schneiderlin plays the pivot role a bit better and has domestic experience on his side. delighted we're actually being linked with these guys, thought wenger would neglect that position

Khedira played as a DM for all his life till he moved to Madrid. Don't forget when he broke through in 2010 world cup he was playing as a defensive midfielder for Germany too. Can definitely do a job there and strike a good balance with Ramsey of when to go forward.

I really can't see Madrid selling him though, I know they are insane and signing Kroos. But surely they might let Illaramendi go first or even Isco? Ancelotti love Khedira.

If we bid for Khedira he's basically ours. He's very available. I prefer Schneiderlin though, think he's a better distributor from deep in midfield. Khedira's a bit clumsy to be the pivot IMO.

Mourinho did like to stockpile them in his Chelsea days.
Would prefer Schneiderlin, think he is a much better distributor of the ball. Prem experience is also an advantage. Hope Wenger goes for the right option instead of the cheap one
