Today's Marca cover is brilliant. If I lived in Spain I'd buy a copy to keep it for posterity. Not because I hate Spain (though I do :p), but because it's an awesome photo. I reckon it'll come to be considered iconic.

It's quite poignant really until your eyes are punched by that Barbadilo ad.

Y'know Tika taka never really existed, it was just a name to explain the style that the likes of Iniesta and Xavi played (very well and with great success to tbf). With the deterioration of those players and no apparent successors that style will also vanish.
People witnessed Spain play that way, in peoples minds it exists and existed, in years to come when people watch old footage of Spain and Barca it'll be something they note, it will be said to have existed because for a time it did.
And also because of the success they had playing that style.
I do agree with Biggus though on the players creating this style. It isn't otherwise seen in Spain. It will be interesting to see what the Barcelona Academy churns out in the future.
