Yep. Morata has no say in this because he agreed to the original clause. He knows that Madrid are just activating it because they want to make a profit on the transfer. Previous rumours suggested that they were looking for £40 million from us, which is about €51 million. (This might possibly be where the new £51 million rumours come from, by the way - someone confused euros with pounds perhaps?) I think that's a pretty good fee for all involved.
On Juve's part this is good business too, I reckon. They signed him for €20 million two years ago. Real Madrid can buy him back for €30m. Juve could try to pay Madrid another €30 million or so instead to forfeit the clause, meaning they'd have spent €50 million in total on Morata... or they could just take the €30 million and make a €10 million profit on a player who clearly isn't favoured by Allegri. It's a no-brainer for them.
