According to that he has played a total of 1430 mins in the league (just under 16 games) and he has scored 7 goals. In the CL 590mins (under 6 games) and 2 goals. In Copa Italia 376mins (just over 4 games) and 2 goals. So he is scoring almost a goal a game but I'm not sure why he doesn't play that many minutes for Juve. Whenever I've watched Juve he has looked good, maybe he doesn't fit the managers style?

Google says Morata is 1.9m & Giroud is 1.92. So barely an inch in it

Google is wrong. Morata is 6'1" max. Look at pics of him with Ronaldo who also stands at 6'1".

He'd produce similar numbers within a season or two, definitely. The way he works up front reminds me of Vardy actually. He can occupy a bunch of defenders on his own. He did that against Bayern in CL this season. Allegri lost the game when he subbed Morata for Mandzucic.

im a big fan. my issue is that wenger is struggling to extract the maximum from his players, and morata is at a stage where he needs a manager that will help him step up to the next level

Giroud is definitely not 6'4" either. It's a daft argument.

Agree with Gurgs and Klaus, if you put this guy at centre forward for us with our current creators, he would easily produce a 15–20 goal season and then get better from there—provided he settled into London emotionally. It's the mental aspect that's always a concern with Spanish players.

I don't get why Morata would go to Real only to be sold. Couldn't he basically say to Juve that if they don't accept all bids above RM's clause, he will go back there?

I think the real are going to buy him back is crap paper talk. Just to get as many clubs as possible into an article for hits.

If I had to compare him to someone it would be Torres, think he would do really well once settled in the PL but obviously is a bit of a risk and has to be right mentally.
