Give your top 5 in order.

I can't pick a 5th, there was nothing between Giroud, Ozil and Cazorla.

Those three better than Sagna?

Kos
Per
Sagna

Ron - put a poll in you numpty. Whilst I obviously wouldn't begrudge him winning, Kos has been consistent throughout whereas Rambo was injured for three months.

I think Ramsey has been spectacular and has provided all our spikes in excitement, but overall Koscielny has been our most important player, the way he and to a lesser degree Szczesny have cut the mistakes from their games last season was immense.
Ramsey has not hit his peek yet which is scary.

1) Rambo
2) Kos
3) Mert
4) Sagna
5) Szczesny

The rest have either been inconsistent or injury prone.

1) Ramsey

2)Per / Kos ( don't think it's possible for me to rate them separately)
3) Szczesny

4) Sagna

5) Cazorla, Özil, Wilshere, Giroud, Theo, Gibbs - all were key in a handful of games, none consistent enough due to injury or maybe lack of full fitness.

If we are rating contribution over the whole season, i have to give it to Kos, Merte and Sagna followed by Ramsey and then, shock-horror, Giroud.

1- Ramsey
2- Kos
3- Per

I was going to say Per and Kos joint purely because Ramsey was out for half the season, but the fact he came back and was immediately head and shoulders above anyone else in the squad from his first touch seals it. We may not have got those last few results to clinch 4th without him and we certainly wouldn't have won the Cup final without him. With him I have no doubt we'd have got closer to the title than we did.

Find it hard to separate Per and Kos as they were both fantastic and have formed a great partnership. Sczezsny for me had his breakthrough season. Really solid and saved us a number of times, that brilliant save late on against Palace springs to mind. Looks like a genuine number 1 for a title challenger now and should have played the Cup final.

Sagna was always a warrior and am sad to see him go. Also I felt Arteta wad asked to do a massive job on his own and was always an important leader. One of my favourite ever Arsenal players.

  1. Ramsey
  2. Mertesacker/Koscielny
  3. Szczesny
  4. Sagna
  5. Arteta

Ramsey
Kos
Per
Sagna
and one squad player
Rosicky

Three defensive players who suffered some serious drubbings....

  1. Ramsey
  2. Koscielny
  3. Özil
  4. Wilshere
  5. Sagna

Could have gone with Per and Arteta in the two last spots too. They were both very good.
